ET Consults is a consultant with a focus on Site Contamination Investigation, Remediation Management, Waste Classification and Resource Recovery Assessment. James Ngu, founder of ET Consults, graduated from Sydney University in 1991. A Senior Principal Environmental Engineer with experiences in New South Wales, gained over a period of more than 27 years. He holds current specialist qualifications: CEnvP (Site Contamination Specialist), Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP) and MIEAust CPEng NER IntPE(Aus).

 
James has in-depth knowledge and experiences in

• Preliminary (Contaminated) Site Investigation

• Detailed Site Investigation

• Remediation / management of contaminated land and validation.

• Long-term Site Management & Monitoring / Environmental Management Plan 

• Assessment of soil, groundwater and hazardous ground gases / soil vapour

• Advice on remediation options

• Waste (contaminated soil, etc.) classification 

• Resource Recovery Assessment – Virgin Excavated Natural Material (VENM), ENM, Recovered Aggregate, etc.

• Leading a multidisciplinary team of specialists: risk assessor, hydrogeologist, remediation expert, NSW SafeWork licensed asbestos assessor, etc. 

• Preparation of reports required to be audited by NSW site auditors  

• Preparation of reports in response to EPA requests, such as notice pursuant to Protection of the Environment Operations Act, etc.

• Responding to the requests from councils, such as development applications (DA), clean-up notice pursuant to Section 91 of the Protection of the Environment Operations Act, etc. 

• Liaison with environmental lawyers / barristers, etc.
